There's nothing wrong with net fishing. Actually, nets are very effective at catching a lot of fish. But chances are you will also catch crawfish, crab, sardines, and whole lot of kelp in your search for just trout. 
                       
With line fishing, we focus on only catching the fish we're looking for, and nothing else. Not that we are comparing our awesome candidates to stinky fish but you get what we mean.
